STANAG 2324, for the interested: cancelled in 1979. I was trying to get a copy in ~2001 from the NATO library. 2324 was defacto replaced by MIL-STD-1913, which may eventually be supplanted by STANAG 4694.

I had a similar experience trying to locate a widely referenced standard - I wrote the standards body to see how too get a copy. No dice. I eventually found a reference to our being replaced by another standard, which is widely available, b

we agree. I understand why employers require MDM, but I've always had a device that is a work-only silo of apps and authorizations because control of my device is important to me.

fortunately, my employer will pay for a device. We don't have an MDM - soon we will - but to be honest I can't see allowing BYOD without MDM.

Most bulletproofing that you would wear that isn’t actually armor is not stab proof. Also, it’s trivial to make effective rifle armor out of AR500 steel, Rhino Liner (or other bed liner) as a spall guard and a nylon/Velcro plate carrie

you're right: one advantage to PEX is price of PEX itself. Other advantages: easier to install, no sweated joints, easy to color code, of no value to meth addicts. No sweating lowers the fire risk (which tbh is very low, but non zero).

Joan and Richard had a deal, he would leave it alone for her. At one point later in life he asked her permission to study it and she said no. He covers it in one of his books.

I am 100% an unabashed fan of Provigil/modafinil. I think it should be available OTC. Even though I have a prescription, it's $30/dose to fill it in the states. I can buy it from India for ~$1/dose.
