Sounds depressing. First you deal with massive PRs and now also these agent prompts. Soon enough there won't be any coding at all, it seems. Just doomscrolling through massive prompt files and diffs in hopes of understanding what is go

It's good to regularly see such policies and discussions around them to remind me how staggeringly shameless some people could be and how many of such people out there. Interacting mostly with my peers, friends, acquaintances I tend to

Sounds like author of the post might have needed an AI to review and fix his convoluted writing. Maybe even two AIs!

Unfortunately AI "art" has about the same amount of nutritional value as artistic value. I'd recommend him to go for oil paintings.

I've been trying to use DDG for the past 2-3 years, but way too often I have to add !g at the end to go to google where I can get better results. So I've been considering giving Kagi a try. Can you tell if in your experience Kagi

Yeah, feels like 80% are AI or AI adjacent things. Agentic this, Claude SKILLS.md that, AI design third and so on. AI DOS practically. Unfortunate for those that have curious projects that end up drowning in slop.

Can you give an example? I can't imagine calculating conversions between inches and feet to be easier than using millimeters/centimeters/meters. Or using mostly millimeters in construction in Europe. You have one unit to deal

I agree that AI is much more useful than crypto ever was, but it's not as useful as AI hype valuation would like to paint it.

I would also say that most modern ORMs and frameworks also either come with soft delete feature (with automatic filtering on all queries) as part of the package or there are third-party libraries available for ORMs adding this functionality

It's an analogy, it doesn't have to map 1:1 to AI. The point is that current situation around AI looks kind of similar to the situation and level of hype around Crypto when it was still growing: all the "ledger" startups

What if its penetration ends up being on the same level as modern crypto? Average person doesn't seem to particularly care about meme coins or bitcoin - it is not being actively used in day to day setting, there's no signs of this
