We use a similar stack except using TypeScript with Angular but keep the Rails backend. Essentially your Angular code should boil down to one JS file, one CSS file and be hosted in an index.html. If you're dealing with modern browsers

No reason why you can't roll with React to do this. Although backbone supplies a "View", it's very thin and makes it easy to use your own method of getting data into the dom.

If you don't mind working with design agencies then send them email to setup a meet and chat about yourself. Don't send a super long email to them, just a short, conversational tone asking to meet for a coffee and a chat about wha

I can't speak for everyone but I've found if you're good at what you do, and you have some skills in networking (e.g. the ability to meet for a coffee and demo some of your work) plus the ability to recognise good clients the

Err, I'd say that it's getting easier then ever for one person to build a website by themselves. - Rails/Angular go a long way to speeding up development due to the number of 3rd party libraries available for them. Need User

Can you give an example of how you've organised the modules? Like one per model (a products module) or by section of the site?

Is there a changelog somewhere of what's added? One thing that's always frustrated me about this project is the lack of release notes on each new version.
