Excellent post. I think the most enlightening item was "Buy Luxury Later." I tested out the searches for cars that were suggested, and wow, there are some great deals on CL.

I had code in there to do just that (at a 2x ratio) but commented it out before launch. I am going optimism that it will not just turn into an ad site. If I end up wrong, then I will do something like this. So far it seems to be a site wher

There is a decay effect on the home page (the "hot" section) where posts will fall off as they get older. The current calculation is bitcoins/sqrt(time) The spammer is still just a single person, and if no one is sending coins to lets say h

The typical vote is 0.001 bitcoins ~= 1/2 a penny. This means that a vote up is very affordable, and it doesn't require attaining reputation on a site to push something you feel is worth while to the top of the stack.

I am far from a designer myself, and no designer was involved in creating this (it was really just a weekend project). I don't see how it is just a feature. It is fundamentally different regarding what makes up a vote, and how things get po

I don't care much about google+ infiltrating search. What I care most about is that searches are now more fuzzy. If I want to search for terms : A B C D The results will consist of things with any combination of those items, and sometimes t

Better than boycotting godaddy, take away their number 1 spot on google. Just add this link to any websites you control: <a href=" http://www.namecheap.com>Domain Registrar</a> This will heavily effect their SEO.
