I have actually gone the other way. After almost a year and a half of using the Motorola Backflip (the first AT&T Android device, if I recall correctly), I am now using my sister's old iPhone 3G. My main reasons being that my Backflip w

Loon is used as slang to mean somebody who is a bit off the wall or crazy, as in that person belongs in the "loony bin" (mental hospital).

You mean Honeycomb? Gingerbread source has been released. Also, I'm pretty sure I heard that Honeycomb will be released with the release of ICS, so I think it's hard to say we shouldn't trust them. Sure, they should've released it like the

I was really expecting there to be a twist like the "friend" was actually Bill Gates. Imagining that, it made the "friend's" response even more humorous.

I'm not sure I follow. I've disabled notifications except for people adding me, mentioning me, or sharing with me directly and only receive emails for those. Particular people spamming your feed? Put them in a different circle and dont chec

The study suggests something that is true in general for people, it doesn't apply to every person in every case. Like I said, in most cases I'm not bothered by spoilers. However, in this particular case, I felt a diminished sense of enjoyme

I don't think I'm typically bothered by spoilers, but The Usual Suspects stands out as an example of where it definitely hurt my enjoyment of that movie. I mean, I still liked the movie, but man, I can only imagine how much more I would've

I have to agree, but I may be basing it off the first iPad. I was a bit stunned on the plane when I saw how much thinner my tab was than this girl's iPad. I thought they'd be more similar. I was a bit jealous of her monopoly game app though

I think it's to convey exasperation. Like somebody has been looking all over for info but cant find it, so they finally get fed up and decide to crowd source the answer.

I would agree with this. Google is up over $100 since G+ came out, so I think there will be some people eager to sell tomorrow to cash in on the strong uptick.

So it does. I have it signed out (I don't need my gchat's going to 4 different places), so I turned it on briefly and failed to notice that. Thanks for pointing that out!

Gmail has had group chat for a long time. G+ has it on the mobile app, and really you could join a hangout and use the text chat feature for group chat as well (even without a mic/webcam). I'm not sure why the G+ in-browser gchat doesn't su

You're a lucky one I guess, or I'm unlucky. Facebook has constant little issues, whether it's just plain slow, the back button doesn't do anything, clicking a link doesn't do anything, chat is always on the fritz, or some other annoyance.

If Facebook's video chat debut is anything like their text chat debut, I think Google+ still has the edge here. Facebook chat was (and to a degree, still is) pretty flaky. I've stopped holding my breath for new Facebook features because I f

My friend is a summer intern at Google (this year and last). He got myself and our entire Wave "crew" invited.

Currently those inside + at the moment cannot invite others. It will probably change soon, but I think the initial rollouts are still going on, so for the time being I cannot invite others.

I wonder if this applies to the problem I've had ever since I've gotten a MBP in the fall. I am now on my 4th charger. No matter how I handle the adapter, it still manages to stop working within 3-4 months. The first one was probably my fau
