I didn't. I do do IF, I just don't believe it makes a difference with regards to weight-loss. It's all still just about calories. IF is just a hack to help me keep my meals large enough to be satisfying.

I declared that I've found a way to help me lose weight like I haven't been able to do before. Keeping it off is another story, I'm sure, but that's lifestyle related, not dieting.

I do some form of intermittent fasting too, I only eat between 12h and 19h, but that's mostly to make sure that my meals still feel substantial enough

Exactly. And that's where I suspect the "not all calories are equal" thing comes from. I don't trust labels much, especially in my part of the world.
