Strictly speaking, properly checking C2PA metadata requires network requests in the general case, because you need to check if the signing certificate has been revoked or not via OCSP. But in anthropic's use case they can probably ge

Under what circumstances does the metadata get added? When Claude Code CLI needs a media file usually I just see it run an imagemagick or ffmpeg command to create one, which isn't going to have C2PA metadata. Edit: I asked Opus 5 for &

I used to be pro-hybrid but I feel much more on the fence about it nowadays. ECC software can have flaws too but I don't think anyone seriously suggested hybridizing two different ECC implementations, for example.

You'd think apple would be incentivised to sell it at as low a price as possible, perhaps even as a loss leader. More polishing cloths sold means more polished iDevices, which improves brand perception.

Interesting. I've always wanted something like this. The official Spotify player sucks in many ways, but the UI/UX is decent, or at the very least I'm used to it now. All the other lightweight Spotify clients roll their own U

I hate this behaviour because it means if I typo an internal hostname suddenly it gets broadcast to everyone's DNS resolver, and wastes some time in the process (and in the worst case, takes me to a random website I never intended to

Lol. This misconfiguration is so common and so trivial that LLMs have been known to exploit it unprompted, to complete their task.

I think LLMs can be used productively, but I also think the average PR from an LLM is crap. They can be decent (or even excellent) at writing code, but they're mediocre at deciding what code to write, and terrible at deciding what not
