I was incredibly excited when they announced the chip alongside all kinds of promises regarding Linux support, so I pre-ordered a laptop with the intention of installing Linux later on. When reports came out that single core performance cou

On that note, is there any good window management paradigm on MacOS? Tiling just doesn't seem to work well tacked on compared to full-fledged i3, and MacOS' seperation of applications from their windows makes multi-tasking a giant

RunPod has its issues, but the way it handles payment is basically my ideal. Nothing brings peace of mind like knowing you won't be billed for more than you've already paid into your wallet. As long as you aren't obliged to

Here's the obligatory comment complimenting you on the project given your age too. It's certainly more advanced than anything I tried at that age.

The readme and stats remind me of VanillaJS, which should be a sign that you're not making a fair comparison here. Anyhow, I think this can be a very educational experience if you keep adding features and benchmarking — it'll get

I feel like there's a pretty big difference between recommending Zsh and a shell without compatible syntax. The latter assumes you'll spend so much time running ad hoc complex commands in your shell, without opting for a proper sc

OpenAI's new image generation model is autoregressive, while DALL-E was diffusion. The yellowish tone is an artefact of their autoregressive pipeline, if I recall correctly.

A European gym chain hosts a very simple end-point for their entry QR codes — just a GET with the data in a query param — so I tend to use that one just because it somewhat amuses me every time.

I'd say this holds true for LLMs in general depending on your standards of interest, but Codex has blown Claude out of the water for me personally. It seems to have much better code "taste" than any other model.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but GPT-5's pelican is its most impressive improvement over 4o I've seen. I wonder if Codex' MoE does not contain any expert fit for this task due to its fine-tuning on code.
