Like the old poker adage: if you can't recognize the sucker, then it's you.

I close my lid and my MBP (last of the 17" line) never sleeps. Really frustrating.

With such a lofty goal I do not understand why they capped at $1000 donations. Missing out on the big fish.

It's not about figuring it out, the key thing here is transfer of risk. Its certainly won't be "bs" if you get a fine due to a breech.

Use two factor where possible, but for the password, here's an easy format that I use to generate a strong and (somewhat) unique password per site: 1. Choose you paraphrase - something like "I like long walks on the beach after seven" 2. Ta

This bet is a self serving purpose - it brings attention to Bitcoins with outlandish claims which will get media coverage. This brings more people to the table to drive the value up as they purchase BTC on speculation only.

I can't imagine them doing it either, but the PR would certainly be incredibly epic and a nod to the quality of the indie game scene. PS: My introduction of "fairy tale ending" was chosen specifically to reinforce the unlikeliness!

From my perspective, a fairy tale ending would be for EA to take Zynga to the cleaners, then cut a check to every independent label that Zynga has copied off in the past, or start some sort of fund for independent game companies. EA are sti

After a 7 year programming hiatus from my college CS degree (never ended up coding professionally), I am learning RoR through CodeSchool.com's tutorials and it's fantastic. The best part is you can speak to a real person for help by calling

If QR codes were automatically detected with the iPhone camera app, they would boom. 95 percent of the problem is non-tech people don't know they need an app to scan or can't be bothered with getting one. I've literally seen a friend of min

I can't agree more. I love Pandora for the guidance. WAH is available on Spotify, which is good (I used them before Spotify), but it's very niche indie discovery. I can't select a Temptations song and expect to be then offered up a Clarence
