I've never understood GitHub...I just write code in notepad and then sftp it into my server to deploy...why go through github?

Obviously it's a good idea for ANYONE to learn to code...but marketers should really make an effort. Even if they just pick up a little bit...enough to recognize what they're looking at...it can only help them.

Sometimes it's the simple things that make the most impact. It cracks me up whenever I see a new time management app come out. I've used this two legal pad method myself for years and really get a ton done every day.

Most CS types that I talk to suggest that they didn't really need to study all that much in school as many of their CS classes didn't even have tests...more like projects. But overall...what was your level of studying while at college?
