I love Pixelmator but I can't find any way to do nearest-neighbour resizing. Which I figured was the simplest thing to implement. Even MS Paint can do that.

Yeah, that's all he needed. Making it a comment isn't necessary either. Maybe Node should be strict by default? I can understand it not being the case for browsers that need to support legacy code, but for Node it doesn't really need to car

That's just to keep a reference to the sprite along with the body. There's no real magic to it. Later in the 'update' function it loops over each body and updates the attached sprite: https://github.com/ryanwilliams/cocos2d-demo-box2d/blob
