I guess your YMMV. I switched from developing in Linux VMs to WSL about 3 years ago and have used it daily for development. I don't do much OS level engineering these days though and would probably fire up some VMs for that.

There is definitely a sort of undercurrent online to a lot of the claims and animosity towards anyone questioning LLMs or even exploring the downsides. Tons of anger and vitriol; on HN now even. I get the sense a lot of new and middling eng

Also interested in this and a replacement for 4.1/4.1-mini that focuses on low latency and high accuracy for voice applications(not the all-in-one models).

I must have been sleeping when "sheet" "brief" "primer" etc become known as "cards". I really thought weirdly worded and unnecessary "announcement" linking to the actual info along with the

Can.. I'm very confused, why is Vodafone selling and giving people chunks of data and minutes over such short time periods? Does not compute.

There is just something about it that feels off about these prediction markets. Like there is no end to the terrible incentives and negative externalities. Personally I don't like banning vices. Regulation is much better. So I always

It's kinda like when the web first started taking off then there were WYSIWYGs. Everyone and their mom was creating static HTML websites. But nobody shows off static HTML sites on HN.

I'm not sure what claims and what actions you are even talking about. Let's get on the same page.. Is the action taking out the Ayatollah and Ali Khamenei?

> Why are we even talking about this? There were lots of reasons to do this. The massacre of 40k citizens opened the door. Kinda like how Al Capone got busted on tax evasion? Capisci? Maybe no.

I turned 18 about 6 months after 9-11. Going to take a night off from worrying about forever wars and celebrate the end of the Ayatollah and Ali Khamenei.

IMHO you're still making it too complicated; knives out GOT, titans of industry.. Sure, but it's even simpler.. The Ayatollah Regime funds regional terrorism. It destabilizes the region, gets people killed, and holds back progress
