I've mostly worked on apps(vs websites or however you want to make the distinction) so I keep appreciating being able to model the FE domain outside the view libraries with MobX. It works with Vue, React, Solid, and nothing. So it'

I'm not even sure what the deal is with suspense and the massive wait on it. They make it sound like it's some super advanced functionality you should never have to touch(because framework! so we'll not even tell you how to u

But they pretty much snubbed Vite because it's not a "framework". Similar to how Tanstack Query doesn't even mention MobX as a state management library. It's crazy how many people use MobX for beefy apps(even Micros

I'm a huge fan of React Aria and have built a component lib on top of their hooks and React Aria Components(RAC). I find some downsides though around how insular the development is. Hardly any outside requests get more than "we ha

It's hyperbole and cynical to say we are "letting truckers die" and also that we "ignore that tradeoff and wash our hands of the whole issue". Neither are true in any useful, productive sense. It's pure cynicis

Driver fatigue is taken way more seriously than it used to be and measures and laws have been put in place to minimize it by forcing maximum driving and minimum resting periods. So, ignoring the fact that society doesn't just get toget

The joys of reviewing a GTM change submitted by some Chad at "Marketers R Us" where they copied a minimized, practically obfuscated, JavaScript blob of unknown origin into the browser. LGTM! FML... Also GTM can get fucked.

Ah, GTM. I think people might be shocked that access to this RCE backdoor is often given to non-technical roles and even outsourced marketing resources..With no controls in place at all. Security nightmare.

That lock nut may not have lined up correctly for some reason and was backed off a bit to get the pin in? That could make it torqued under spec. But also, it doesn't look like that bolt clamps anything so it may not matter if it was a
