The ".mp3" example worries me. It fails on concatenating strings?

OS X only has one corner for resizing windows, so it wouldn't surprise me.

My understanding is Verizon has abandoned fiber-to-the-home and sold off the franchise to Frontier Communications. (Assumedly they still maintain a fiber backbone to serve their wireless networks.)

A lot of people will pay for the convenience if the price is reasonable, say 10 cents per gigabyte.

It's pretty clear that smartphones aren't primarily for placing calls. They're pocket computers with cellular internet access.

That sounds like you just lowered the bail, in which case the defendant would probably just pay $1K for someone to borrow the $10K. How can credit and cash be distinguished anyway?

The funny thing about Google Buzz is it's so simple that it can't die. It can always be integrated into any other Google service. For example, you can view geo-tagged Buzz messages in Maps for Android.

I bookmark pages I want to visit later and take advantage of the location field to search my bookmarks, as I am paranoid a www search engine might forget about my obscure page.

Great, so if you have a bunch of shrunken tabs, you just see "Apple" over and over. Usability experts have said for years to put the subject first in the page title and then tack on branding afterward if you must.

JSON is static content. Open an HTML page you trust and have that load the JSON data you want and use it to populate the DOM, making sure to escape HTML characters so it can't inject script tags and such.

Yes, many apps will benefit from an always-on server. Must we rely on a Mega Corp just for some strange desire to turn everything off?
