You know, Windows 7 has a task bar that does everything. Most operating systems end up with 2 or 3, and somehow they do it in one.

Metro is fine with a mouse. I would like to see it become the new widget layer on top of the desktop wallpaper, without hiding the old task bar, and preserving a Windows-7-style start menu.

The most popular touch screen GUIs, iOS and Android, default to a grid of icons, like most major desktop GUIs (Windows, OS X, Gnome, KDE) have desktop icons. I don't see this as hurdle.

I thought they were going to get rid of explicit saving. The current state is automatically saved, as well as some or all history.

Are you talking about APIs that work directly with our biology? Like, get/set data in the brain?

Seems that Dart has a lot of features of Java, such as types, classes, inheritance, and interfaces.

It felt out of sync. I could move up and down, and clicking made the circles solid, and there were some other players, and some sounds. I suppose moving up and down and clicking changes the sound, but I'm not sure how.

Interesting how his command line glows and shows CRT-like distortions. Is that actually how it looks, or is that post-processing applied to the video?

There are several LTE phones out already, and Verizon is rapidly expanding coverage zones. Although, I suppose battery drain is the unresolved issue.
