I work in Education. There are a surprisingly small number of vendors that are willing to do little projects in the space. When I hear "I wish we had something to do X", I take notes and come back with offers to build X. Recently,

I bought a few ETH this morning. I linked a bank account, is that the difference?

I signed up earlier today and bought some ETH. Coinbase hasn't asked me for any sort of verification, ID, or photo. It says my transaction will take 8 days, but that's the only waiting I've experienced.

I've seen this pop up a few times now... what verification? Coinbase hasn't asked me for any proof of who I am at all.

Between 400 and 500. That number is super-misleading though. I only have 3 or 4 videos that have earned me any countable money. I have a "dear diary" type series that I do every weekday. I have uploaded 433 episodes on that series

My YouTube back-catalog nets me $2-5k each year. One video in particular has repeatedly paid for my children's Chirstmas presents as it tends to "go hot" around this time of year.

I'm in the same situation. I have started on a SaaS that will be profitable next year, but as it's education based, I won't be able to monitize until July. My job is ending in June... so I have to figure something out in the

To "retire" while I still have enough life left in me to enjoy it. By "retire" I do not mean the absence of work. I mean the freedom to work only when I feel like working.

At work, I had a client say "I wish we had software that did this." What they were asking for was little more than a Google Form with a few reporting options. So, I whipped them up something in PHP/MySQL and handed it off. I

I've been playing it several times a day since you hit the front page of HN. That's very unusual for me with anything other than puzzle type games. I read your entire blog and that, in part, fuels my interest in the game... but as

Hm, I've been using KeyPass/Dropbox for quite a while now. Not sure what advantages this method has over mine? Yes, I have to remember my KeyPass master password... but then you'd have to be logged into one of my machines to

You're right. Honestly. The problem is, I've had this device since day one and switching between input modes still gets in the way. It is not a fluid experience. That's all I was saying. I am an "artist", writer, coder, consumer, and gamer.

Step one for me was uninstalling all the default apps. Some of them have good replacements in the Market, others I just do without. The lack of quality is a serious issue. I'm not sure how they are going to fix that considering Microsoft th

Exactly this. I actually like the Modern stuff. The interface has some flaws (lack of a notification bar) but overall, the experience is good and interacting with apps is fine. The issue comes when you switch to the desktop and try to work

My battery life is no where near that terrible. I'm not sure what he has running constantly, but I can GAME on my Surface Pro for 5+ hours without plugging in. It's still bad for a "tablet", but not any worse than my HP Elite Book with the

I want this so bad. I once tried making an appointment for severe pain and was told three months and there was nothing sooner. They told me if I was in severe pain, I could visit my local ER, pay, and submit paperwork for reimbursement.
