Reading Cruz's tweets on net neutrality invokes a special type of enragement[0]. It is downright offensive how he treats his constituents, especially us lucky folks in the "People's Republic of Austin". 0. https:/&

There isn't a week that passes where I don't miss Google Wave. It was a bit bloated, and javascript engines weren't quite up to speed for it (it was practically unusable on FireFox), but I still believe it was the best chance

I watched the first ~30 episodes and honestly tried to love it, but I couldn't do it. These days I find Leo so insufferable and conceited that not even my nostalgia for TSS can save the new show. If they spread the role of hosting arou

This was supposed to release on January 9th, but Google pulled the trigger earlier due to community members putting the pieces together and starting to draw press attention. It isn't very fair to blame Ubuntu for being behind.

But there are protections against this, such as HSTS. I would expect someone with as much sensitive information as Equifax to have HSTS + HPKP pinned into the major browsers. Their server should never even receive an HTTP request. It's

Not at all, the site is definitely compromised. Someone posted a link[0] that when I opened on mobile is redirecting to a malware site. Confirmed on two separate Android devices running 7.1 + Chrome. [0] https://news.ycombinator.

Slightly off topic, but thank you for your work on sqlite and fossil. I've used both daily for years and am always impressed by how consistently fantastic they are.

By flush, do you mean fully hidden inside the port? Yubikey has the 4C which should work on the MacBook and is the same size as their normal keys.

I actually think the openness is very important as well. Many companies(/C levels/managers/employees/clients/etc) are still stuck in the "heads must roll" mindset, where a mistake is punished rather than u

This is caused by media sites/blogs abusing block quote typesetting for pull quotes. If the quote is in the text of your article elsewhere, it should be placed off to the side as a pull quote, outside of the natural reading order. This
