Yes! I have many customers who run events with anything from 50-1000 people and nobody wants to be bothered with scanning, even with the obvious advantages it provides.

SaaS as a business model, not as a technology. Webmail was a feature, not the entire business, for the most part. I'm sure you can find examples of SaaS before 37signals, but that doesn't detract from the fact that they were among

Since when is a 375 person class massive? I'm all for what Udacity, Coursera, and others are trying to do, but there have been proper online universities such as the Open University doing this for years with hundreds of types of degree

What? Perl is about 10 years older than PHP. In fact it would make more sense reversed. PHP: Perl is a kludge. Because that's what PHP mostly replaced - Perl.

Yes, it's quite a fun game, similar to Game Dev Tycoon if you've played that. There were crashes in the first release but it seems to be fixed now.

I've been using it for about a year and it works well, haven't gotten any false positives yet. It can do keyword checking as well as standard ping + port connect. That's about all it does, which is fine by me. It's free

Bit of a stretch, no? I agree that any removal of privacy features isn't good, but what Zuckerberg did was stop someone else cashing in on his name/reputation. Not entirely about privacy.
