I'm not sure how common this sentiment is, but I had a discussions with colleges who will NOT donate unless they can guarantee that their money is going to the development of a chosen product or even more granularity to a chosen featur

Just an idea, what if malicious bots started unsubscring thousands of email addresses to harm your business. Even if you send a confirmation email afterwords that's potentially millions of emails you are sending because of bots.

I wanted to use Google Sheets for an internal corporate app, but authentication/authorization is a pain, I got it to work but it would have probably been faster to just have some CRUD SQLITE somewhere.

by now they have made tons of user-hostile changes, just to see the line keep going up, they know that there is a loud vocal minority, but most users are totally fine with MV3 if they even notice a change at all.

I'm not sure thats how it works. For the artist to get paid, the fake listener has to be paying a subscription. Unless it is money laundering, this excuse makes no sense
