It's actually touch mixed with stylus handwriting that I think will become useful. http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=476184 I expect it will first be put to good use by a company like Evernote. That's my interest anyway.

Yes, but more often I'll spend some time writing a comment then fret about word order a bit before submitting it. Immediately after submitting it I'll realize my fretting has mangled my intended message and I'll have to edit the comment. A

Reading your second comment in this thread leaves me wondering if it would be safe for an american to travel the same as you did. I had wanderlust a few years ago and reading your post makes me want to go wandering abroad again. I would g

I agree with David Mathers. I believe that time has given you enough perspective to put you more than one level above Solomon. Its poetry is enough reason for me to see it in the Bible, and it reminds us that fame and money themselves are

Well, I reacted bit out of emotion there. Hence the shot at Greenday. I've been in a bad mood today, sorry. I didn't mod you down by the way, your comment doesn't deserve a down mod so I righted it. Our ideals are different, and I disagr

For a tablet to be really useful to me it would need to be a hybrid. Tablet for reading and browsing, laptop for email. But there is a middle ground of texts and chat that can be easily taken care of with handwriting recognition. ...[ha

Now, why would Apple need to compete on price to bring price down? It isn't their thing, yet they may still bring price down, and they can certainly bring demand up. Take the iPhone as an example. Before the iPhone I did not believe I co

Oh, it wasn't really saying anything; I thought you knew something I didn't. I got Spivak hearing that it would be good, and it is, I really like his writing style, but its going to take me a long while before I can tackle Spivak. How
