There's another symptom of this. Those in power are exempt. When an MP, called Julie Bishop, had her bags searched, she used her power to get those involved sacked.

What is equally impressive is the number of photons received from radar imaging of asteroids. They are closer, but the radar equation received power is inversely proportional to range to the fourth power, not range squared as with Voyager.

Two main reasons for recognizing the photons: They have a specific frequency, 8.3GHz in this example. It's like tuning an FM radio to a station. The photons are coming from a specific direction. As to how they are decoded, you'll

A great article. Good to see they give Heavyside the credit he deserves for what everyone now calls "Maxwell's equations".

The main problem now with many custom ROMs is VoLTE support. Many countries are shutting down 3G networks, and many VoLTE solutions (for 4G and 5G voice) are not available in the open source ROMs.

For a while in the 1990's IFS (fractal) image compression was a serious competitor to JPEG. Microsoft Encarta used it on the encyclopedia CD-ROM. I don't know what happened to it. It was pretty slow to compress.

Yes, this article is marketing. They've just made a prototype smaller filter. YIG filters have been around for decades. They are electrically tunable. However, they are slow to change frequency and can have an odd phase response.

I'd add to 4, having seen a bit of the Kernel code. There's a lot of duplication of code, when new developers or teams come on board, they often just re-invent the wheel, rather than using existing Kernel funtions. I would guess

Yes, take MS Teams for example. Takes around 1000MB or RAM. Older chat apps used way less. IRC used less than 1MB, sure it didn't do voice or video, but it could do things Teams still cannot do.

The commercial PC/DOS compiler was a terrible buggy mess. I had the misfortune to use TopSpeed Modula-2 and it involved going into the compiled code with a Hex Editor and re-assembling it.
