The main dev does work for them and they thus get first class support, that helps! (It's not working as well on Debian for example, at least a few months back)

I think many distribution* are evolving toward an even better compartmentalization with containers / VM, I just wish we'd work more toward than and indeed stop having to package apps for every distributions... * QubesOS, SubgraphO

I'd rather see the web evolve even further and make "apps" irrelevant and have a desktop OS on my phone, that respect my privacy, rather than the other way around... And FOSS!

Indeed, I never understood why they couldn't make a bit of effort and at least allow GRSec as a build option so it can be enabled by default on at least the server distro which are willing to waste 2% speed for some practical security

It also hasn't been the case (yet, maybe?) to me mostly because we haven't been teaching computer science fundamentals in most schools, sadly... And I mean learning fundamentals, not training for proprietary solutions like Office

Agreed, even finding a sysadmin-only that knows something is hard. When I talk to dev that have no idea about system, security, networking, etc: forget about them trying to wear 2 hats...

How about a 60% keyboard like the Poker 2 or ducky, etc.? I've switched from a full keyboard to a Poker 2 and you can get used to it very quickly.
