The reason negotiation is in this product is that the underlying code is actually from 2008, which explains why the cipher selection exists in the protocol, as well as the inclusion of TwoFish.

Agreed. It's also super weird to have designed a new protocol that supports multiple cipher suites, it's very well established through the design of SSL and SSH now that there is absolutely no place for cipher negotiation in proto

Nothing about this website really gives a whole lot of confidence. It claims to be "Started from US", but the broken English that's prevalent on every single page says otherwise, there's no information about what company

Their paid one when you go over the limits. Not everything has to be black and white and reduced down to a single, oft repeated catch phrase like that.

Why do you consider them to be "the most evil"? Their services seem to be completely fine in almost every regard, and their communication doesn't at all suggest that they might be evil.

If this is a concern it is supported in yt-dlp and mpv.

Why manually scrub through videos when there's a tool to do it automatically for you and re-cut the video into a seamless block of content?

Youtube is also basically unwatchable without both adblock and sponsorblock. At this point most videos are are at least 1/3rd clipped by the latter.

The APA102 is probably even simpler, it acts as a 1 byte shift register register per LED and passes the bytes down the chain without needing to really know the total length, there's some special case to latch all the data into the outp

Nonsense. The 10th gen X1 Carbon has basically nothing functional unless you are running master kernel, and even then it's not completely there. It's just an unusable paperweight at the moment, the OLED screen is pretty though.

Not this project specifically, but a DoH resolver of your own is pretty nice. It's almost impossible for someone to reliably block it by filtering DNS packets (many public networks do for some reason), you can do your own crazy levels

I think a lot of it stems from the realisation that you don't ever need to actually make a product, you just need to sell the feeling of it and that's sufficient. What's being sold here is almost certainly just shovelware on

The hyped "Unplugged messenger" is just element/matrix with the branding stripped off it. https://web.unplugged.com/#/login What a weird set of stuff, it smells really, really bad.

That makes no sense. LORAWAN is very, very limited by airtime, which is why the data rates are so abysmally low. You're never going to see a huge amount of traffic on it.

If you think your scheme will result in a large return on investment you can spend a gigantic amount of money on a domain name and have it make sense. It’s how you have companies parading around with names like “crypto.com” and buying super

Sadly namecheap bought into this, so it’s being forced down the throats of people who don’t quite realize that the domains they can buy on the service can not, and will not ever be usable. It’s pretty obvious to even the most casual of obse

Many refrigerants have a greenhouse effect of literally zero. It’s safe and legal for me to vent my refrigerator because it’s filed with isobutane.

It’ll be closer than you think. Large carriers in the US don’t expect to be using physical SIMs very shortly.

On the most recent iOS releases moving a eSIM is done yourself and is just a couple of button clicks.
