Let me clarify. At 6$ a month, I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off, even if it really doesn't cost them nearly that much to provide me the service. The t-shirt I'm wearing costs maybe $1 in raw materials and manufacturing, but it sold

On Verizon's family plan, we pay 30 extra per month for unlimited texts for 5 people. 6$ per month for that seems like a fair price.

I see that as a hardware problem, not an android problem. It's still the consumer's responsibility to do their homework and not buy devices that suck. Crappy COMPAQs didn't make people stop using Windows.

Market load time on my HTC Droid Incredible is about 4 seconds. The green carousel thing is laggy for maybe a second longer. After that everything is responsive. No '10-20 second lags' whatsoever.

Definitely more readable, thanks. The horizontal scrollbars in that version are somewhat annoying, but nothing's perfect.

I'd like to check this out, but the code examples aren't nearly dark enough (on FF4.0b9 at least) which makes them painful to read.

For how long? I paid $500 or so for my Radeon HD 4870x2 around 2 years ago, and it's done everything you described since then. In my experience, getting high end video cards is a better choice in the long run.

Been a while since I've seen SDL mentioned... got me started on my first C++ video game. I didn't understand casting at that point, so the code was an unholy spaghetti horror, but SDL sure didn't get in the way.

You could always just make up some days you're not available, and then make an 'exception' to fit them into your 'schedule'.

Have you watched Jeopardy ever? The 'questions' are often pretty obscurely worded, and the IBM computer often comes to completely bonkers conclusions despite your supposed 'confined question space'.

I usually have AdBlock on, but it was off temporarily when I installed Windows 7, during which time I clicked an ad for a TV show that looked interesting. Turned out to be an awesome TV show. I'm still not going to turn AdBlock off though.

Exactly. There's a ton of android phones, but only a few per carrier, and those are mostly graduated on a pricing scale. Don't know about other carriers, but Verizon is pretty smart with its B&M stores about how to narrow down the sel

Wow, the word retyping test seems like a total scam. Of course you're better able to recall words after a test in which you were already better able to recall those words. It's called memory. Correlation, not causation, as the maxim goes.
