From my experience, at least among older teens, Minecraft is the game that fulfills the metaverse's role. It allows people to do just about anything they want, especially if you use mods, and it is very easy to play with friends.

I personally have found some excellent content through YT's recommendations. For example, the algorithm introduced me to LockPickingLawyer, Taskmaster, and Jet Lag: The Game.

Largely because the people on scooters ignore traffic laws. I'm in an area of Atlanta where they are still allowed, and the riders regularly run stop signs and red lights without checking if a car is coming.

I don’t know about in a kayak, but I imagine that the current is too strong for a swimmer to hold on. The water will also suck you down deep underneath, almost certainly lodging you into one of the tunnels for the short remainder of your li

That's the same for me. I had to use it for every (non-math) assignment from 3rd through 6th grades. I found it much slower and more cumbersome, and I have not used it since.

I do, and I have to agree with the parent. The only time I ever read cursive is the occasional note from my grandparents.

Personally, as someone who wrote only in cursive for 4 years of my life, I find that cursive is significantly slower and more cumbersome that print.

This is a fork I made of the game Worldle [0]. Like wordle, you can normally only play once per day. I made a few tweaks so you can play as often as you like. [0]: https://github.com/teuteuf/worldle/

I don't want to take too much credit for this, it is a fork of a preexisting game [0]. All I did was make it so you could play unlimited times per day. [0]: https://github.com/teuteuf/worldle/

That's how it's ended up, which is a shame. The idea behind cryptocurrency had the potential to be used for good, but the execution has been so poorly pulled off that it ended up being scams, speculation, and air pollution.
