Is it just me or is this piece essentially devoid of any sort of real analysis? They ran a linter and then did a one liner pretty-print on the output... and then close with observation that there a lot of false positives and potentially &#x

Intel already supports a significant number of PCIe 3.0 lanes with their Xeon E5 chips. If I recall supermicro sells a dual socket Xeon board with 10, 8xPCIe 3.0 sockets.

Some years ago I read a moderately well fleshed out proposal to create a European semiconductor consortium as a sort of an Airbus for CPUs. My recollection is that, while it was somewhat flawed, it was an idea with significant merit.

I know it would be a major undertaking but I can't help but think that building a similarly dis-integrated but complete computer would be a really interesting project.

Doesn't IBM have the facility to migrate processes (by virtue of Virtual Machines) from core-to-core, processor module to processor module, and machine to machine. I'm fairly confident I've seen that in their hypervisor on Po

It's been some time since I have read the reviews of the big Sony devices. My recollection is that the most recent version will only handle PDFs. I think it does support making annotations but with some sort of weird limitation. Anywa
