This is understandable. But if it is experimental, please label is as such. No mention of that on the landing page right now. EDIT: Oh, I should say: If it's meant to take over the world, say so, as well!

That particular example seems to be a horrible misapplication of an ImmutableMap. That's not a map, that's just a record of values. (Well the 'board' member is a collection, but you get what I'm saying.) I'm no

(I have no horse in this race, just curious.) Are there any non-proprietary implementations of Ada/SPARK which don't place limitations on the compiler output?

They're saying that the Rust compiler will reliably enforce these things... and that it's completely trivial to surface any cases where the programmer thinks that they are smarter than the compiler, e.g. for extra code review, o

That's a real "fun fact" kind of thing. Love it. Of course, the 'real' solution is actual Numerical Analysis (as I'm sure you know) to keep the error properly bounded, but it's really interesting to have a

I did give it a go at one point ages ago (5 or so years, I'm guessing?) and it worked okay, I guess. As always with such things the problem was mainly lack of polish and a lack of extensions.
