There was a picture showing a antenna bent at a roughly 30 degree angle, ontop of the launch tower. Not sure if that was the cause though.

As a person working in Japan's programing industry, specifically with integrating machine tooling with a web UI; A lot of this sounds accurate. Though, I am not sure if any keiretsu had an influence on my current employer.

It's the same logic as writing a sentence like this: Y U gna be late It's grammatically completely incorrect. But you can still understand it. When it comes to chinese/japanese characters, many have the same phonetic reading.

They already did in 2023. Excel did not have an option for turning automatic conversions off. You can now, FINALLY disable automatic conversion. Honestly that "feature" has been a bane of my existence, and I don't work with g

I was specifically taught that good, readable code could explain itself; that it would make comments redundant. Therefore, comments should only be used for things like psuedocode, or as help for fellow developers during dev. Then, they shou

A defect like that would make it illegal to sell in my country. One big splash on a major network and they will probably go scrambling. Have you contacted anyone other than the manufacturer?

I was taught to not leave comments in finished code. I have regretted following that lesson ever since.

Internet banking is so ridiculously insecure, I always go do it myself in person. Although, I rarely have to do anything with the bank that would require any online or offline process beyond using an ATM. So no, that wouldn't really be

On one hand, I do want more countries taking social media to court. However, in this specific case, it's been pretty clear that the Brazilian court orders send to X/Twitter. Specifically, some that order the censoring of specific

No, the pilot can depressurize the aircraft at high altitude. In such a case, the emergency oxygen masks for passengers will drop, but those are only rated for 15 to 30 minutes. After that Oxygen runs out, assuming the pilot maintains cruis

Unfortunately, the conventional US Navy has an incredibly bad history when it comes to post mortem investigations. They have very consistently used scapegoats to hide systematic issues, or problems caused by people higher up the chain. Some

Not to forget, the same problem has happened before with aircraft pilots. Someone doesn't notice that the the wrong engines are running, or someone forgot to power down one of the engines. Or there was an engine failure. And in the con

I think we will see something similar to the last boom with Neural Net chatbots back in 2014(?). Public discource will simmer down, as current language models either fizzle out or improve. Some will become background noise as the models get
