Lambda is inside the VPC which means it can’t connect to the outside world without a NAT Gateway.

API Gateway adds around 200ms to each call for us based on our testing plus another 100ms if it’s inside a VPC. What region are you in? Our VPC has a NAT Gateway so that our Lambda functions can talk to the internet as well. I am by no mea

1. Use a framework for deploying your lambda functions. There are a few that will manage the API Gateway for you. 2. Don't put the Lambda inside a VPC if you want lower response times 3. Step Functions don't seem ready for prime

Deploying code doesn't take a lambda function down. It just spins up the next instance with it. You do have a cold start issue as mentioned above but if that isn't an issue, then you shouldn't see any down time. We run a bet

I live in Kansas City where Sprint is located. You think they would have the best service out here because of headquarters and all, and yet, every person that I talk to that has Sprint hates the cell service quality.

Trackers already do a lot of work in keeping peers up to date. Adding a subscription system would probably overload many trackers and make running one of those extremely expensive. Granted, I would have loved a system like that to subscri
