You bought a product and it did not work as advertised. The recommended path would have been to have it serviced or return it to the distributor. You could also attempt to install the correct working drivers, as this most likely would not v

I'm not sure I could justify that much for an internet-only laptop. The hardware isn't half bad, to be honest, but the software offerings seem like something more suited for an internet tablet than a more-powerful laptop.

I absolutely love post-mortems like this. It clearly identified that there was a problem, what the author tried to do to fix it, and if it was successful. Even if it ends with the author not knowing too much about the solution that was used

I wouldn't call them crazy. Rakuten is a Japanese brand that bought Buy.com. I believe they're just consolidating. Is it an unmemorable, weird name? Yeah, but it isn't like someone sat in a room and said "You know what I think? I think Raku

You don't have to make fonts larger, just give me a way of increasing the size without either destroying the website layout or making the site that much more unreadable. I would like more flexibility and less rigidity. More times than not I

I have terrible eye-sight at the ripe old age of 21. I've had terrible eye-sight since my age was a single digit. All I ask of web designers is to consider us as much as they would somebody who has no sight as all. If I sound pretentious,

I know how you feel. I'm partially sight-impaired. I don't necessarily try for larger text in the OS itself (I'm using OS X at the moment, and the text is "just right"), but on some websites I feel the need to constantly zoom every time I v

I like this a lot. It's super simplistic and ultimately out-of-the-way. The design is nice. A couple things I would add would probably be some way to do syntax highlighting and a quick button to create a new paste from any page. Clicking th

"License: Public Domain" I don't believe the author here is legally able to do that, since it's a derivative work of Twitter Boostrap (Under the Apache). Correct me if I'm mistaken.

Still down at 2:00 PM CST. I hope we see a good post-mortem out of this. For their record amounts of uptime, I can only expect something extreme.

I assure you that you are not. I find the Erlang syntax incredibly simple and elegant. Every solution seems to be just modifying some grand-unified pattern a bit to fit. But, I guess one mans Erlang is another mans APL.

And I think this is the biggest issue. Where do I find the information? Who's going to pay me for it? What incentive do I have to toil over something that might be needed and useful on one level, but stark in contrast to other opportunities

Seems more like "A typical Jeremy Morgan Toolbox". Most of that would be superfluous for being typical in the general sense of a text editor, a reader of some sort, and an execution environment.
