That's the boat I'm I'm - we have less than a dozen services and all we need is packing them neatly on worker nodes and some load balancing. Setting up Kubernetes for that looked like an absolute overkill. I need to try Docke

Completely out of curiosity I checked the status of my emacs server: 189 opened buffers (4 terminal sessions, rest are mixture of Ruby, Clojure, Javascript and Elisp files) < 1% CPU 2 processes (server + attached editor)

That's what I did - I got a cheapest VPS for $5 so that I can stream stuff from Hulu/CrunchyRoll/and few other services. Plus - it's always useful to have a VPS anyway.

Wow, it's pretty much the same as Titanium Desktop. (yes - I remember XULRunner and Adobe AIR - but the first didn't have any usable documentation, and the later is just Flash with webkit web view + AS<->JS bridge)

Depends on what are you going to do - I created quite big apps in both jQuery and Prototype. Whatever you want to do - you can do in both - it all depends on the size. I find Prototype better for big projects where you can use it's class sy
