We're definitely in "works on my machine" territory here. Still it's good for building your confidence as a programmer, no?

The list of MIME types looks weird, too. There's stuff like "image/zip" in the source code.

It's explained further down: After the last byte of the file is sent, the nweb web server web() function stops for one second. This is to enable the file contents to be sent down the socket. If it immediately closes the socket, some o

I tried implementing a Mersenne Twister, and the numbers I got were completely different from that book. Didn't I use enough entropy? Where can I get some from?

You're interpretation is quite correct, and this solves the "anybody can create a cryptocurrency" problem. Isn't Satoshi Nakamoto's design brillian!

And the bot doesn't get the details wrong! I mistakenly wrote "Bill Hammond" instead of "Kristian Hammond" in my TL;DR. (Sorry Kristian.)

I've never had a problem, even when writing a 5-page composition in an A3 notebooks. But it's possible that the nibs and inks at my local stationery shop, here in Japan, are a little different to the ones where you are.

A fountain pen. I grew up using pencils and ballpoint pens. I swore off fountain pens after some frustrating, messy experiences. In hindsight, I think I still lacked the fine motor skills necessary to get the best out of a fountain pen. I t

While we're on the subject, we should probably be using control code 16 (Data Link Escape) instead of the backslash character to escape strings. The problem is, of course, that we can't see it (no glyph) and we can't "to

For the indexing the web question (what data structure should an under-resourced web-crawler use to keep track of visited links?) wouldn't a Bloom filter work better than a trie?
