Having used Dragonfly, Firebug and Chrome's internal dev tools a fair bit, I can say the following: Dragonfly is slow to start up compared to the other two. Also, opening Dragonfly for the first time in a session necessitates a full HTTP h

I toyed with the code a bit (which was a bit bizarre looking until I realized the mix of tabs and spaces was meant to be viewed with tabs equalling 2 spaces). One minor thing worth noting: The demo page has a "console.log(...)" statement i

I'm really curious about why the author succeeded with the other four major browsers, but couldn't make it work with Opera.

It can take a preposition, but only in the passive form. Valid: "x comprises y"; "y is comprised of x". Invalid: "x comprises of y".

If you keep refreshing, you can watch the numbers change. (If not, try disallowing cookies first; then Javascript second.) This leads me to think that, since the numbers are shrinking slowly (12.5 bits... 12.1 bits... 11.8 bits...), it mea

I haven't found Chrome's debugging tools inferior to Firebug. I therefore use Chrome for increased browser startup time and reduced memory usage. What feature of Firebug do you use that Chrome doesn't have?

I'm content with Opera's features: You can enable or disable Javascript in main preferences (of course), but you can also momentarily toggle it for your current browsing session, and even store site-specific settings. So, I surf with JS on

Indeed, generated code is seen in the browser. The issue is that the generated code is not the source code when you use Haml, Sass, etc.

I won't use Sass, Haml, LessCSS or things like that until I see Sass, Haml and LessCSS in Firebug or View Source (or whatever your choice of web development tools). The claimed benefits are nice in theory, but I think it is a debugging roa

It's probably an Opera-specific problem. I've created a uservoice idea/issue for it.

If you ever get around to testing out having multiple voting axes, one of those axes could be civility or charitability. (I suppose that would more frequently be used in the negative direction, though.)

Sort of an inverse experience for me: Last year, I took my car into Mr. Lube for the first time. The technician craned the monitor around for me to see the items he was going to work on, and the cost breakdown, recommended maintenance sche

Yeah, I have a flaky host, unfortunately. I'm going to try to move some or all of that site elsewhere soon. For now though, it should come up after refreshing(s).

I wonder why the author chose to use backslash instead of any other character. Backslash is used for escaping in nearly every other language.

Vb > Va does not imply that Va == 0. We cannot conclude that A has no value just because B has more value than A.
