That's a good point, a lot of this seems like it can be explained with some context or just asking why you'd ever want to do that.

Thanks, I got thrown off when I seen PWA talking about service workers, it sounded simlar to the data channels talked about in WebRTC. I haven't had a chance to dip in to either yet.

Can someone explain the difference between progressive web apps and webRTC? Are they related, or completely separate technologies? I just heard about them around the same time, and it seems like they have some things in common.

We got a couple at my company and I've built some protoypes for it, and threw up a little blog for it. The cool thing is the HoloToolkit which seems to be maintained by some xbox developers, and scripts all the functionality you need t

I guess scrabble is a bad idea because it causes fights when someone doesn't understand the concept of proper nouns? Oh my gosh, conflict, let's just throw the game away to spare everyone's feelings.

I think it's funny how this little trivia about Monopoly gets brought up constantly, I think just to spark a debate about economics. Is this really not common knowledge already?

I thought this entire article was almost comical, and posted here for laughs. There's nothing new about the weak-minded being influenced by something as simple as being exposed to 10,000 political campaign signs in their neighbors yard

So none of this functionality would work for mobile browsers? Or can you at least receive messages somehow? After some googling I found OpenWebRTC which says "WebRTC standard would transcend the pure browser environment and that native

I sincerely wish people would get as upset about the regional monopolies ISP's have as they do about net neutrality. We have a serious problem the way things are now, and they just want to make it worse by grabbing even more power.

I'm not sure what the right adjective is to describe how it makes me feel when I encounter one, especially if it's with a company that we're doing serious business with. Disrespectful? Condescending? I think belittling works,
