Why single out children? Why not all videos of people getting raped? Why not all videos of people being murdered? I’m speaking to the usual exception “online libertarians” tend to accept, and pointing out the hypocrisy there. Of course ad

I’m not sure why you’re bringing the US into this when it’s about a crime that took place in NZ, and their requests for cooperation.

1.) Which countries? 2.) Your opinion is at odds with the laws of virtually every country on Earth. Countries that can’t agree on things as simple as diet, or whether gay people should be allowed to live still manage to agree on this.

Meat is easy on teeth, what traditionally wore down teeth in human history were rough unprocessed grains, tough vegetable fibers, nuts, and the use of teeth as tools (working plant fibers for example). Of course the inclusion of sand or gri

A moral standing grounded in mutual respect we’d hope to receive ourselves? Or if you really want to be legalistic, their next of kin have the standing.

I don’t get people who seem to understand that it’s morally and legally sound to censor videos of children being raped, but when they’re being murdered it’s somehow a different story.

Here in the U.K. we’re more or less having this conversation about knives. A lot of stabbing occur, but notably you don’t get hundreds killed and injured from one guy with a knife. Still, knife crime is being used to justify what Americans

It’s definitely not just you. Look at someone like Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, and Damien Hirst. It’s about acting a part, branding, connections, and in some ideal cases talent and originality can even play a role.

Every functional society regulates who can be a doctor and who can produce medical goods and services, that really isn’t a problem. It can probably be helpful to try and look for differences between countries as opposed to just going for a

There is also the tendency of mentally unstable people not getting the joke and more or less taking over the meme. Then the profit-seekers and cult leader types emerge, and suddenly what was a joke is a movement. On a much smaller scale the

I think the single biggest association is actually cartoons such as a Loony Tunes. “Kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit...” you know? The real point of this article seems to be more of an inkblot test of the author and little else.
