I mostly agree with the article, but my opinion of PHP is that it is a language that allows you to write bad code, but you can write good code in it. With regards to the example: $ php -a Interactive shell php > echo "I'm your

I don't think its contradictory that I want title bars and thinner theme. The title bar serves as the main handle to move a window. When its taken away it makes it hard to pull the window out of being maximized, depending on where there is

I Like (or liked) Gnome Shell too. But to me it is still broken. There are a lot of whys that i don't understand: Why is it that some apps maximize, or take up half the screen and lose their title bar? I like my title bars. This should be a

This is what saddens me a little. As a person who started listening to PSY (amongst other Korean artists) over the past two years all he will be known for in the western world is Gangnam Style.

Knowing a few friends in retail you find out a lot of these things. I never buy cables from physical stores anymore. At a local JB Hi-Fi you can find the standard $70-$80 HDMI cables in the AV section, however there are similar just as good

As a programmer who deals with wordpress on a daily basis I feel like I have a different view to it's inner workings. The simple functions for the_loop(), the_title(), and the_content() are things i rarely touch, as they are more template f

Compiz does make usability of Gnome on Ubuntu better. Super-E (which displays workspaces overview) and Super-W (a clone of OSX expose) for starters. The added workspace switcher animation when switching to left and right is nice to show yo

I believe it is because the Milestone is on more than one carrier. Verizon and Motorola Worked together on the Droid's software and they streamlined the process because the Droid is only through Verizon, but the milestone is, for the most p

I've never been aware of NaCl, but when I just read what it was, I was filled with the exact same sentiment. Isn't this what ActiveX was all about? We all know what happened in that instance.

Standards for email markup would be really nice for starters. I think it would be great if email had a sort of simple XML data structure, it would be a lot easier to tie it in with modern day document formats. I highly doubt both of these w
