I didn't take your message to mean you need Plasma specifically, I interpreted it as you needing some library from KDE.

No air war has ever tried to change a regime. The fact of the matter is, we don't know what will happen next. There could very well be a civil war.

That's far too hyperbolic. Abject failures don't lead to state or power collapse. Look at how many wars the Romans lost, and far more catastrophically too.

Why would you need KDE to use Qt? And IIRC Qt has a GTK theme nowadays that makes it look not terrible (high praise, I know).

This is why I have always been leery of C# and continued using Java instead. C#s development has always seemed very haphazard and kitchen sink mentality to me.

I'm certainly no chef, and am only somewhat familiar with one particular side of chemistry (physical chemistry) but I don't see how it would be useful in cooking. Unless you count boiling water as chemistry.

On the source code side, I quite like the way Guix does things, i.e. needing every commit to be gpg-signed. They even have a handy tool for verifying the repo[0] but I'm not sure how viable this is for non-OSS projects. [0]: https:&#x
