Forgive the apparent glibness but: write code every day. Nothing beats learning by doing. Remembering syntax in quiz format or spaced repetition cards is perverse.

All the mainstream engines now support a linux target (and in fact UE supported it for donkeys years) but so few developers release it, partly due to a dependency on an external service or framework. But I'm hopeful now, especially if

I'm baffled as well. I had no idea people could do that. I thought that was called hallucination. I can remember images, I can't see them. I think I'm missing the point somewhere.

There already is a perfect font for coding - terminus. Not that choice is a bad thing.

You are a saint. I was curious what they meant by "commercial" video games. I was expecting real video games like Quake or Witcher but instead it's what you'd expect to be used to measure IQ - puzzle games, some of which

The history of 4chan is always whitewashed/demonised depending on what point you want to make. Moot is not a saint and not the victim he's trying to paint himself to be. As to 4chan itself, it's a message board - it's th

I'm trying out different videos and I can't find ANY instructional content in them - I mean in terms of technical information, something applied that you can learn and use. It feels like watching a TED talk and not a Khan academy

Cambridge is a really bike friendly city but the bike theft level is beyond silly. That's the next problem to solve.

Same here. Disabling javascript lets you scroll the page. Why do people keep doing this - it's a straightforward article with text and pictures. This could be done in HTML 2.0.

Where's the link to a sitemap so I can find the downloads section? The autodetect offers me the wrong file for my PC. Minimalism can go too far when you strip out the most basic of basic functionalities.

Disclaimer: I am one of the most paranoid people I know and I know some pretty radical left-wing hippies. I never understood why people hate CCTV cameras - they are in public places. Places where anyone can film you at any time. Public plac

You can't fit it in a bag so I don't really see the point beyond the novelty. Folding bikes are faster and you can take them on a train/bus.

Why can't the original devs just leak the reason behind all this? I don't expect it on their official website but honestly, how difficult is it to just let people know?

Ethics? You mean business. There is no ethical dilemma here, just a business model that might be not working as well as you'd like.
