I totally agree, because I used to be one of those people. I just added to my cart what I was going to eat for the next week and whatever the price was at the register, that's what I paid, often in complete surprise (and horror) at how much

How about Google Tasks? I rely on this with Gtasks on Android every day as my main note taking vehicle. I find it especially useful for literally instantaneous syncing between phone, tablet, desktop, and laptop. Here's a way to access it vi

I agree. Thank you for this topic series. I look forward to every Tuesday's email! I have to ask though, why bother calculating the daily revenue? If a paid app is in the top 25, isn't that enough of a sign that it is profitable?

I agree. Some of the meal choices were pretty ridiculous too. Toast and jam as an entire meal? And the title of the article is "How to eat healthy"?? There is one absolute best way to spend less on groceries, and it is something that every

I was under the impression that this was a paid app. How does it generate so much revenue while still being free? I signed up for future posts ( extremely well-placed sign-up form by the way!), but I didn't see a description of in-app purc

I agree. The social experience should be at the top of the list of reasons to go to college. And while I am incredibly enthusiastic to see how online learning helps to curb the ever-growing debt crisis of the "traditional" university educat

This makes me think of this quote: The only way to avoid criticism, is to not do anything of value. So expect that it will happen, because it means you created or did something worthwhile.

Easy solution: Don't read, listen to, or watch the news. If I recall correctly, there was even an article about this idea on Hacker News just a few days ago. If there is ever anything really important, I am bound to hear it via conversation

I've always thought that Computer Science is a field best mastered through experience in actually programming in your chosen language(s). I wonder how many people do Master's or PhD programs simply because they want to stay in school.
