Funny you should mention the Honda Civic... I had a 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback. First year of the new model design, it had a touch sensitive volume control... After that, I think it was the 2019 and up all Honda's came with a volume kn

I also find that many of these touchscreens are designed with California in mind. Sure, touchscreens are great when it's sunny and 22C. But when it's -25 and the car feels like a freezer, the touchscreen is sluggish and won't

One of the questions was how to mount a smartphone. I use a car mount, specifically the iOttie one touch... But any extendable car mount would work. Just suction cup it to the back of your monitor and you're set

You helped design the HTC EVO 3D!! I loved that phone what a great design.

Closest is the Sony Xperia 5 or 10 series I think... My wife loves hers and I'm going to be getting one next.

A lot of people get pushed into contracting because it's the only option. I 100% agree with this. But it's the only option because leadership makes it that way. And saying it's not going to happen is a good way to make sure i

I disagree that it's impossible... Airlines comes to mind as an example where you can start shucking bags, and if you're a go getter probably end up getting an operations job pulling six figures. That being said, I agree that many

Everytime I read the words "Mars Helicopter" I get giddy. Especially the fact that this is running on close to COTS cellphone hardware, it just makes me so happy for the future of space exploration. Now to design a helicopter to d

Yep! Now, I've primarily been travelling to Texas, Kentucky and Ohio. But things like most people mention bible study, it's assumed you're going to church on Sunday, more religious aphorisms and sayings. Primarily, most of my

As a Canadian who spends a considerable amount of time travelling to the US, the difference is fairly striking. Religion enters almost every conversation I have in the US in some way. Whereas in Canada, religion almost never comes up. If it

I think you're greatly underestimating the number of GA / Piston aircraft flying. At my school, we have ~10 aircraft flying every day, 8-12 hours a day depending on the weather. Most of these flights happen over prime, in producti

I really hoped he had put an LTE version of a Raspberry PI, to really let the Compaq live up to it's name. This is awesome. I'm hopeful I can do a project like this someday with a Palm Vx!

100% agree. I think the 24hr news cycle is a huge contributor to negative mental health. When we travelled to the in-laws over the most recent holidays, the news was always on, and always talked about and my wife and I both commented afterw

In theory, yes. However Excel Online breaks down quickly with large file sizes, loses formatting and struggles mightily with complex macros.

Highly recommend getting a dog to assist with this. I've never learned so much about my neighbourhood or explored as much as with my dog. Fido has to walk every day, and I get bored walking the same route.

A response to your edit, I was on a zoom call with current musical editors / producers and that is 100% part of the problem. Many of today's actors /actresses almost mumble their lines and make it absolute hell for the audio
