That's fascinating. I'd love to watch a documentary about that.

Right now, the only options are Charles Schwab with a workaround [1], and Wealthfront and Betterment with native OTP 2FA. These are actually pretty great accounts regardless of security, >4% interest on savings and no ATM fees ever. The

Twitter's web app was at that conference doing a workshop on ways to disable right-click Open in new tab.

I can't find any information on what happens if you stop paying for a Fastmail account. 1Password for example freezes your account in read-only mode. It's documented that Fastmail will re-use addresses for free trials and when a u

I think between school shootings and failing to do anything about Covid there's worse things happening to kids.

The remarkable thing about the law is that it doesn't matter what you (ignorantly) think about it. Indentured servitude is illegal and it's incorrect for you to have a problem with that.

Old Twitter was and current Strava are about as good as they can be. You can't complain about no new features when you haven't articulated what's missing.

They don't need to show innovation when the product is complete. Twitter with the new innovative "For You" tab is much worse than when it was coasting with nothing new. Same with electron 1Password 8.

That's a nice feature considering how much they go out of their way to override the native context menu and disable middle mouse button click so you can't open two expense reports in two tabs.

When my company needed photos of everyone they announced a new policy and then 10 minutes later sent aggressive emails to each manager asking why they thought it was professional for their subordinates to be out of compliance. We use Concur

SAP Concur somehow permanently kills the KeyPassXC extension for me on every browser, every computer. I think that's pretty impressive.

There is some wasted energy from flexing during really hard pedaling, but off-road this can actually make you more efficient when the frame keeps the rear wheel attached to uneven ground.

The idea that closing your oldest credit line immediately puts you out on the street penniless is a redditism that's been parroted too much. That old account closed in good standing will continue to support your credit score, and if yo

A Firefox extension that replaces the word Google with Microsoft would get everyone to calmly explain Hanlon's razor to each other and say that whatever's wrong is acceptable because they were worse in the past.

The tone of that article is so condescending. "Students act like they have a robot who will fetch them everything they want on demand" Yes! That's the point of a computer. Your machine should do work for you.

The video says they have around 280 employees. That seems really thin for a company that's so well-known and produced so many products for so long, especially also making PSUs and accessories too. They must be really efficient.
