(Co-founder of Limitless here) For any designers / front-end folks here, I wrote a thread going over some of the design details on our new homepage: https://twitter.com/Stammy/status/1779860940541808935

Thanks - we've resolved this. There was a small window where we were auto-scaling up.

At a previous job, my interview was mostly me discussing my side project (and having given some folks on the team my testflight). I had a lot more prepared to talk about previous work projects but it wasn't needed. For context this was

Not intentional. Fixed! Was related to hovering over videos and keeping the hero video changed in case you meant to share it with a specific video in mind as the hero. Changed the behavior to only do that in if you use the dropdown at the t

Wow, love this explanation. The IEX bit also nails it perfectly based on my experience.

After a decade at big tech companies only shipping sub-par experiences, I was looking forward to doing the exact opposite and focusing on quality. https://paulstamatiou.com/craft/

Same. I have a stack of these somewhere at home. Grew up getting them at RadioShack, sometimes stopping to ask the salesperson questions about BASIC coding and they’d start jotting notes down.

Not currently public aside from maybe a thousand testflight users, but I built a stock and crypto portfolio tracker app focused on design. I'm a designer and developer and this was my first time diving into Swift/SwiftUI. Started

100%. I definitely found my usage increase when I found a more delightful and well-built client with Ivory. For those new to Mastodon, I wrote a huge 8K word post about it recently, from my POV as someone who worked at Twitter for 9 years:

I watched a youtube video about VStacks and Spacers and I was having fun making real layouts my first hour in - with a fast, live preview environment. That was my "oh wow" moment. What's the equivalent with UIKit? Interface B

The point of comparison is that it has given people the ability to develop their own iOS apps from scratch, when previously they could not as UIKit was too daunting and the tools were not as advanced (live preview with swiftui/etc).
