So far I've seen no rules stating that world records should be taking place on earth gravity. Maybe this is my chance to take some weightlifting records.

I dont know, it depends on implementation. Collision detection doesn't involve any graphics, it might not paralellise well. so it might still be easier on the CPU.

Its, hopefully, not mentioned in the news because the CCP is fudging the numbers. There's no way of knowing the exact situation on the ground in wuhan but it's nowhere near the reported cases.

You're following up on his comment proposing strict adherence to rules by proposing a strict type system that isn't allowed to be violated. Which one is it? Are all errors supposed to be caught by the programmer? are all incorrect

This is a bit shortsighted. Just because a country is in debt doesn't mean the best way forward is to pay off the debt as fast as possible. Once you're out of debt you'll still need to have an economy and well educated people

What an interesting concept. Good programmers always consider certain behaviours to be wrong. Memory 'leaks' being one of them. But this real application of purposefully not managing memory is also an interesting thought exercise.

Probaly alot of shorthand writing, anything with an R0 rating below 1 tends to die out. therefore you compare the sars rating of 1.49 and the novel corona virus of 3.8 by seeing how many times .49 fits in 2.8 which is around 5.7 times more

Ofcouse the story itself doesn't show any bias. But the summation of only seeing police cases of reported injustice is going to create the illusion that there might be something rotten in the police force. The truth is that policework

Anecdotal evidence and survivorship bias is strong here. Cops tend to be human beings on a medium income. If you want the apropriate penalty for irresponsible cops then you need to look further than wrongdoing of the individual. Cops are in
