I think the best rebuttal to this article would be Sal's TED talk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM95HHI4gLk In particular, he doesn't present the Khan Academy as a full replacement for primary education, but as an enhancement. In the se

I don't mean to take anything away from your valid criticism, I'm just curious; what would you have them do instead? I've been running the native UI build for a while and it is such a huge improvement. It's totally worth it for the browser

Most definitely. There's another really good doc on Super Mario World that compares a lot of similar chunks of code to their counterparts in the Super Mario Bros. 3 code, which SMW was based off of.

I run Aurora and use the Add-on Compatibility Reporter[1] to disable version checks and run any add-on I want. For most of my add-ons this works fine, but if there is a significant API change an add-on might not work correctly. But if you w

I don't know if you should consider this a failed attempt; the pastebin release implies that they were just "warming up" before the FBI attack. Perhaps they wanted more and failed, but perhaps they weren't aiming to compromise them like Son

As this is turning into a "What do you use?" thread: I use Publisher. I can precisely position everything on my resume, align it to a grid, etc. And if an employer only accepts doc files, it's trivial to copy-paste the file contents to Word

I understand the need for good typography and design and the importance of readability. I agree that they are important factors in web design. But really? Unreadable? The typeface isn't THAT bad, nor is the website design THAT horrible.
