Well RSI and CTS are quite closely related, and as someone who has latter I can say that touch screens are worst possible input device possible. All swiping gestures cause static strain, especially to wrists, which makes long time touch sc

Actually comparing Arm versus x86 is really like comparing apples to oranges. One is RISC, other is CISC. One is good with running multiple threads on single core with highly sophisticated branch prediction, other concentrates having many l

It also has remarkably little information. I know it is supposed to be just introduction post, but still some research data and/or actual implementation should have been available. Now it is just "Intel has done that" and people should beli

These freedoms mentioned (with addition of free education) are called democracy in northern Europe. This is also why we have difficulty keeping straight face when someone claims that US has democracy.

There is only 2 rules in kernel development which you can't break: 1. Kernel APIs to userland are always backwards compatible 2. If you break something, you will take responsibility If maintainer breaks both of those rules, how can you acce

I might be waving hands here, but I got impression that actual components that do raw processing in GPU are not that complex. Complex part (and which produces the performance) is the pipeline feeding data into those units. GPUs are also pro

Any sources for that software stack part? Only information I managed to find was that AMD was contracted to create Xenos core, but there was no mentions who made software (I would assume AMD) and especially no information about licensing.

Using IDEs with netbook is not really good experience: screen area is just too small for having all components on screen same time and you cannot help noticing that modern IDEs do need way too much resources to be smooth on such tiny machin
