Amazon products are the worst if you are concerned about privacy (their tablets are awful)... Google probably comes at a close 2nd and Huawei maybe 20th? (that's a wild guess but Amazon is hard to beat)

They could easily do it for communications between gmail users... they just don't want to do it. > FWIW: As long as the email does not leave Google (i.e. an email between 2 gmail inboxes) it is actually already encrypted end-to-end

Why? Do they have to buy electric cars in Switzerland (aka: gasoline cars are banned)? Or maybe everyone just have that extra money to blow? Or maybe they get large incentives from the Government? In the US it would take something like 15

For my address, they list two cable providers and of course one of them is not available... Are there any areas in the US where two different cable providers are allowed to service customers in the same area?

You should go to a his doctor's walk-in clinic instead (it cost $100 here). But yeah I completely agree.. it is a lot cheaper if you don't have money and are not insured (they cut you a huge break).

It listens at all times and can decide to send your data to Google at any time without a warning... doesn't it do voice recognition in the cloud anyways? edit: do you really trust that button? they have hidden microphones before: http

VPNs can certainly be useful to hide your identity from a specific host and probably to hide your browsing habits from your ISP but does probably nothing against the Government (ie: if the NSA logs all packets worldwide, it should be trivia
