I said “iOS as well”. As in the behavior is the same on iOS as it is on desktop. Platform is irrelevant.

It’s happening to me on iOS as well, which I forgot to mention in my original comment. I do a lot of my reading of Hacker News on my device while traveling, etc

Side note: I can’t get NYT to load anymore. It’s convinced I’m in “incognito” when I most definitely am not. Same behavior in Chrome and Firefox. Has anybody else had it break on them?

As of VirtualBox 6.0, they should be able to coexist (because VirtualBox piggies onto Hyper-V when it’s enabled effectively).

I found that this happened if you are around cigarettes. Once I moved away from that family member, I’ve not had another one die in that fashion since.

There are services, like Authy, that let you back them up encrypted. Whether that is appropriate, when considering the security ramifications, is up to you. I, in the past, have printed out the QR codes and put them in a safe as backups.

That’s generally preferable, yes, but I believe the SN needs to match the model identifier, and it’s generally best to match the model closest to the hardware you’re using. At that point, if it’s a specialized rig for this, I’d just skip ou

Your code would break if you pulled in the dependency, too, until you updated it. I don’t think that matters much here.

Handoff requires a very specific set of Bluetooth hardware iirc, and it would need to be entirely passed through. So most likely no. And I believe that some of the iCloud services (specifically those entangled with iMessage/FaceTime) w

The internet is (usually and unfortunately), only text. There are no facial cues, hand gestures, etc. I, like I imagine a lot of people, can't easily detect sarcasm in text unless it's extremely over the top. And even then .. some

I wasn't saying there was a disadvantage, I'm just giving a potential look into why it took longer than, say, Arch. Yum is a huge Python project, and it took a while to comb through it all.

Roblox has kind of gone through a number of iterations. There was a time where it was really deep by default (and not much point and click) and knowing a good amount of Lua was useful. It has been around since 2005-2006, long before the iPa
