That would certainly be the day I go "what the heck, Apple/Google." They could certainly try and prohibit it, but I don't think the backlash would bode well for them, and we'd only see people obfuscating their traff

This isn’t Apple or Google’s fault that application developers are choosing to pin their certificates in their apps?

As much as I think this entire thing is silly, let’s set one fact straight: Docker Desktop is not open source.

There actually is no override whatsoever. If you email them, they tell you how to break the plastic base without accidentally destroying the lid (since the bases are cheap to order replacements). Props to them for sticking to that mission s

Every time you attempt authentication, and it doesn’t recognize you’re wearing a mask in particular, it’ll “retrain” the model when you authenticate with your passcode. If it was only a little bit off, eventually you’d retrain enough to get

I guess the problem with baking it down to "the best x" is that it's too subjective. At least if there's a few choices, and people can add to them relatively easily (a PR with little friction) people can kind of choose t

I think the other posters are saying it’s much easier to shred a small file than it is to shred a multiple GB database, although these days it doesn’t matter so much for a database that small. It’s super efficient for file systems though.

Ah, that’s great! I was just looking down this path the other day for a project I need coming up soon. This’ll save a good days worth of work :).

I'm terrified of heights, I probably shouldn't get a job as a window cleaner. Not every window cleaner has a thousand companies trying to hire them either.

At the very least, Plaid's finally getting official oauth2 integrations with a lot of the big banks. It'll be eons before we get such integrations with small banks, though. For example, Plaid now will open the banking app on a mob

This seems really bizarre to not be included with the .0 release. The features are live, but the label states "Your instance (current version) is 13.9". It could do with some more refining perhaps.

Why isn't the what's new section in Gitlab updated for 13.10? It still says "13.9 (Your Version)". EDIT: That is, the one under the help tab in a Gitlab instance on the top right.

Are there plans for self-hosted versions? That's pretty much the "if I will use it or not" question for me. Atlassian's killing of their self-hosted solutions for smaller companies is just really a shame.

I'm impressed you were able to get your employer (Salesforce) to actually let you publish this under their organization. Kudos to that.
