Yes, the information is received by the Arduino without a physical connection to a computer. It's still connected to power though.

Another one of these? This has to be the fifth "Teens don't use Twitter" article I've seen. We get it! Most teenagers stick to Facebook. Twitter takes a bit more before it "clicks" for most people, and most teens aren't going to put in that

The $1.2 billion is the projected revenue. Also, this just seems more rumor spreading without really knowing much. I'll just wait till Apple announces it, or there are at least some pictures that look are possibly real.

Light rope 1 on both ends, and rope 2 on 1 end. Once rope 1 is gone, 30 minutes have past, and light the other end of rope 2. Once rope 2 is gone, it has been 45 minutes.

The nice advantage of using a desktop mail client is I can have it download all my email always. So I have a local backup of all my mail, just in case Gmail ever goes down.

Congrats, would you like a cookie? This article just says the same things that have been said many times, that Apple has been annoying with their control of the App Store, it doesn't really bring anything new to the conversation at all.
