I find GrabUp ( http://grabup.com/ ) better than Skitch, mainly because I never use the extra features that Skitch gives on top of just taking a screenshot and uploading it.

I don't know about LaunchBar, but Spotlight doesn't offer the same things that Quicksilver does. Sure it does application launching, but Quicksilver does more, not to mention Quicksilver's recommendation algorithm is, in my opinion, better.

It can, and it looks like they're making mathematica just render things as images, instead of parsing in text and then reformatting it as HTML.

Exactly. I never see the reason of trying to memorize stuff like this. Just learn one useful feature a day, and use it! After a while, it'll just be muscle memory.

Don't undervalue this advice. I took a good amount, and knocked off a whole semester at college. If I took and tried in every AP class I took, I would've knocked off even more.

I was about to go to UT Austin, but after this story, I'm glad I came to Georgia Tech instead. The lab computers are pretty good, and the ones in the College of Computing are just thin clients that VNC you into Red Hat or Windows, which you

A browser plugin that installs the engine, then it downloads the maps, config files, etc in browser. So I'd guess whatever Quake 3 was coded in, Quake Live is coded in.

I stopped doing homework to program. I'm not sure I'd advise the same to others, but because of all the extra-curricular activities I did with programming, I feel it was worth it.
